Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that clean and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning both dry and wet messes in one session and without the need to switch between devices. They can also help save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will have impressive navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that automatically empty their bins and fill up their water tank, and wash their mopping pads using the dock that is specifically designed for them.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the simplest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and an easy-to-follow guide will have you running with a clean and complete dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in a matter of minutes.
The S1 Pro is a powerful little machine that cleans up a mess and vacuums well too. The mops spin at high speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of dirt, pet hair, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
You can, for example ask the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and smart navigation technology are superb and the robot is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only problem is that the robot is known to smash into objects and walls at full speed. However an inspection of the history of cleaning on the app will tell you exactly what the robot has completed, where it's moving, and what obstacles it has encountered or avoided.
The docking station features an LCD display that displays when maintenance is needed, such as emptying debris and washing the water tank that is dirty. It's also capable of mixing detergent automatically into the water tank by using a 600ml bottle filled with Eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time and the mop is capable of running for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode, and the vacuum capable of running for 136 minutes in normal mode, before having to recharge or return to the base to replenish. The app is easy to use and intuitive that lets you see all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's flagship robot mop and vacuum, is the newest version. Unlike last year's model, this one features two agitators in its mopping pad which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that enables it to remove smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners may miss.
The Roborock model, just like the other two I tried is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it avoid obstacles such as furniture, walls, and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things a step further by adding a dual camera which can recognize objects and determine whether they are a wall or another surface. It can then automatically change its path and clean them without skipping a beat.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've examined, however, it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it has only three physical buttons which include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin auto-refills.
The only downside I've discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. You can change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for washing manually. I've observed that any soft carpet the robot crosses will be in contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and that can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can manage and set up these through the Roborock app that is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you plan cleanings and monitor battery life. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops to allow voice control with this model, which is a shame considering how well it performs otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a market leader with cutting-edge features, high suction power, and advanced mowing abilities. Its smart design allows you to personalize and efficiently clean while saving time.
The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to provide 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which easily makes it one of the top options available. This powerful vacuum cleans up dry mess, including pet hair and food particles. It has a mop of high quality that cleans hard floors without the need for pads. The X40 is also very quiet in operation and only occasionally bursting during modes changes or self-maintenance.
The X40 also has a side brush that is able to be extended and lifted. This lets it reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean furniture with curved edges like table and chair legs. It also allows the robot to access furniture that is low-profile, making it a great choice for small apartments and condominiums with small spaces. The side brush also automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice addition that helps the X40 avoid damaging floors with excessive back-and-forth movements.
Unlike some other robots that solely focus on one task, the X40 can do mopping and vacuuming at the same time or individually. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, and vice versa. best inexpensive robot vacuum can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.
The app is easy to use and understand, and the X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are simple to configure. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times. It is also possible to alter suction power, alter modes, look at floor plans and maps, and manage mopping setting. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and has numerous features that make it a great option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads, then refill them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It will also tell you if the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and alert you to the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models on the market. However, it has a number of features that make it stand out. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. It makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and has the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can remove pet hair and smaller dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.
The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station every time they are used. This is beneficial because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from building up in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a system has yet to be seen on other robot vacuums and mop models and it could be a useful method of keeping your home hygienic for longer.
There are plenty of options, including the option to schedule cleanings and adjust preferences. These can be set via the app or buttons that can be found on the unit itself. The app is simple to use and has a lot of options to customize the cleaning process, and there are a lot of features that other robots do not include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles instead of relying on an individual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks elegant and elegant. It is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list, but it's still not too heavy. It feels solid and well-built. The mopping system is well designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. They can also extend to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
